A Match Made in Ashbourne Heaven!

Wedding season is upon us and wedding favours have become a prerequisite feature on the To-Do lists of couples about to wed.

This tradition, materialistic as it may first appear, is actually a ritual which dates back to the 16th century.  More specifically, it originates with the French aristocracy who would present their guests with ‘Bonbonniѐres’ [French bawn-baw-nyer] – delicate jewel encrusted boxes containing sugared almonds or sweets at their opulent parties and weddings.  Although seemingly extravagant, it was believed that sugar had health giving properties and a gift of a bonbonniѐre was a symbol of care extended to all guests.

For something a little different and in-keeping with this tradition, have you considered our Decadent Chocolate and Sticky Toffee Muffin Twins?  Or our Fruity Blueberry and Raspberry White Chocolate Muffin Twins? They are suitable for Vegetarians, ambient, individually wrapped and just £9.00 per box of 12 (that’s only 75p per pack!) and the dimensions are approximately 12cm x 6cm x 6cm of each individual twin pack. And what's more, a twin muffin each to represent the Bride and Groom!

To personalise, you could tie a ribbon in-keeping with your colour scheme around each pack and attach a handwritten label with the initials of the Bride and Groom and the date of the big day; a delicious and memorable treat for your guests.  A match made in heaven!
